We took the opportunity to have a long weekend away, last week. We didn’t go far but it was lovely to have a complete break. We stayed in our camper van on a site miles from anywhere, and with very patchy internet connection. Disconnecting, almost completely, for a few days was good for recharging our batteries.
Lunch has arrived! We didn’t linger long after eating because the heat was getting a bit too much for us.
Now for some yarn-craft from the last year or so.
This little cardigan is made from some Drops cotton yarn that was left over from a blanket I made for our granddaughter nearly 5 years ago. The squares are an African Flower Motif from a YouTube video, which I free-styled together into a cardigan.
This cardigan may not look scrappy but it's just as scrappy as the hat, although knitted. I dug out as many random, dark-coloured, odd balls of yarn as I could and knitted with three or four strands together. The red borders give it a pop of colour.
I hope to get some photos of my most recent makes for next time.
Bye for now

I haven't done any crafting for such a long time but have felt to make pumpkins and leaves for an Autumn tree. I must get on with it!
I’ve just caught up with some of your blog. Sounds like you’ve got your hands full, and it sounds similar to how things have been for me too. I look forward to seeing your Autumn makes.
